Michael Forbes was a former NSWAFUA Member who umpired with the AFL Sydney panel from the early nineties until his move to Melbourne towards the end of the decade. Michael suffered a tragic accident whilst riding his bike in Melbourne on 28 June 2008. A website has been set up by family and friends and is very much worth a weekly visit – www.michaelforbes.org.
